Bleak faith forsaken tumblr11/25/2023 ![]() There aren't enough enemies in this game to make the perk useful, maybe there's a later area somewhere with more enemies but don't bother with faith as a first perk. Honestly having fun with the mid attack parrying though, the lack of a running attack makes things kinda slow but the game is fun defensively.īTW I took the faith perk since I liked the concept, TERRIBLE IDEA. I think it might just be a timer you can't see that kills you. As I said no UI and the giant doesn't move comprehensibly, so there's no way to tell WHEN you will die, you just do. Next is that if you hang onto the giant too long you randomly die. You can stab the giant which seems to damage its main health, but I could've sworn I got the giants health empty and it did nothing. Upon climbing on them there is no UI and the giant moves randomly but not in a comprehensible way. The giants take basically no damage to their actual health if you swing and hit their legs, instead you damage their leg health which makes them fall for you to climb on them. I think bows might be mandatory in this game. By the time the light attack animation finishes the mage/archer is already out of range.- see the problem? This results in your character pausing and entering it's light attack animation, instantly rooting it to the ground while the animation plays. The issue is that once you close the distance, you need to attack, so naturally you use a light attack to try an get them. Lemme explain.īoth archers and mages run away from you, so naturally the solution is to close the distance. I'm having fun so far, but am also finding some very annoying issues.įor a start I seems to lack any means to deal with giants, archers, or mages. Give them (3 man team) some time to iron out any issues, and let them know in the comments what they may be able to address. Look at a title like Steampunk 2077 (Major Game Studio) for example, with all the major issues it had! They made vast improvements, over 500 thou on Steam alone have played the game. ![]() Have not figured out how to access inventory as of yet, unless you need to find another character or check point in the game.Īs far as people slamming the game for glitches, bugs, etc. It's not, the character fatigues and you need to be aware of this. I thought at first it was a glitch with rolling, parrying and swinging my weapon. The controller setup as how it is will take some time to adjust to with what does what with the controller. Have not been able to lock onto an enemy, not a big deal as many never use that feature. Have not noticed any tearing or glitching during my first hour of play. The camera can be to sensitive, lowering the sensitivity helps some. Along with the soundtrack it feels relaxing to me. The graphics have that gritty look, seems more vibrant than any videos of game play I watched. ![]() For it seems the myth was once a truth and now a reality.I like the game and what it can become, some minor tweaks here and there as with almost every game (AAA, AA) that has released in the past two years on PC.
